Cremation Guidance

Providing professional, low cost funeral services to our families - Haynan are your local specialists in cremation services across Kent, Sussex, Essex and London.

With the flexibility, lower cost and accessibility, cremation services are now, and have been for some time, the more common choice of funeral in the UK. The cremation caters for most religious and non-religious beliefs and requirements, and cover a variety of service options.

The majority of services last between 30-40 minutes with additional time and weekends being available at an additional cost. Set in beautiful grounds and comforting chapels, these are often the perfect environments to celebrate the life of the person who has passed.

During the service, music is usually played during the entry, reflection period and upon exiting the chapel. You could also opt to have family or friends read a eulogy or poem between the ministers/celebrants words.

Every service through Haynan Funeral Directors is bespoke and personal to you and your loved one. We will guide, assist and support you throughout the entire process, giving you ideas and options to think about that would reflect the character of the person who has died. Should a relative or friend be unable to attend the service, most crematoria will have the option of broadcasting the service live online for those to view or watch at a later date.

The forms and processes can be daunting for both cremations and burials. For more information on the medical certificates and application forms you may need, contact us and we will be happy to talk you through it. Alternatively, you can see our FAQ’s page.

Why choose a cremation with us?

The average cost of a funeral in the UK has doubled in the last 10 years, and 1 in 8 families now goes into debt to pay for one. Simultaneously, the vast majority of people would prefer a personal send-off to something formal or traditional.

With our cremation services, we take care of your loved one’s cremation for a fraction of the cost. You then have less worry and plenty of money left over to put toward what is important to you, compared to that of using a traditional funeral directors.
